My 2016, Niner Bkes RLT 9 Steel part-way through a massive rebuild at Brave New Wheel in Fort Collins, Colorado. Among the list of improvements, the charging system from Sinewave stands-out, an upgrade that was worth every bit of my investment including a pricy dynamo hub.
Gear List: Le Tour de Europe

21 August to 22 October 2019
Weight: Bike+Gear+Water+Food
Roughly, because in truth I never managed to get the bike on a scale during the tour. I'd say in the window of 50-65 lbs, any given day, part of day, etc. Most evenings I purchased and packed dinner, breakfast, and lunch into my panniers. That always brought the weight up, temporarily.

Left, what's missing is the bike, cyciling shoes, and a few other items that I packet into a cardboard bike box, my only checked "bag" at the airport traveling with United Airlines; right, it's my habit to spread my gear out on a flat surface, for about two weeks before I depart. From this perspective I can conveniently visualize whilst sipping coffee items that I might not need. Each time I remove something, I add it to a nearby, separate "cull pile." Anything culled rarely gets back into the kit that I'll bring on the tour. Despite how much I culled before departure, I ended up removing a few additional items on the tour itself, in packages that I shipped to a friend in Germany including my only pair of pants. In the absence of pants, I relied on my knee warmers or bib for any circumstance that I felt I needed to cover my legs. A well planned kit includes many items that serve more than on purpose. Generally speaking, in my experience what I don't have I rarely miss, and what I have I often wish I could lighten. So go light and when in doubt leave it behind, you won't miss it.
